Know where your credits go.
Creator includes 2,500 credits for $20/month. Studio includes 15,000 for $99/month. Add 1,000 credits for $10 on either plan.
What a credit is
One credit is one cent of Dashpop service allowance. What a task costs depends on the model doing it and the work it does, so a credit is not a fixed number of prompts, screens or finished games.
Every AI call is recorded in your account with the exact credits it used, down to six decimal places. Small calls use fractions of a credit. You can see the charge for each call, so you are never guessing what a session cost after the fact.
What you can use credits for
One shared balance pays for Dashpop’s internal agent when you use it, image and 3D asset generation, hosted playtesting, and builds for distribution. Monthly credits and top-ups work across the editor, plugin, CLI and API.
Bring your own agent to steer the same tools. Its reasoning is billed by its own host; asset generation, hosted playtesting and distribution builds still use Dashpop credits. Asset generation is included in Dashpop, so you do not need a separate Meshy account or provider balance. Any reference image generated internally before a 3D model also uses credits.
Credits do not guarantee a finished game, a particular number of levels, or a completion time. Review your itemized usage before choosing more credits.
Available and reserved
Your editor shows available credits: total balance minus reservations. Before an AI call, we reserve enough for its maximum approved input and output. After usage arrives, we charge the exact amount and return the unused reservation. A premium model can require a large reservation even for a short final answer.
If a call fails after consuming tokens, that usage still costs credits. If usage cannot be confirmed, its credits stay reserved for reconciliation. No additional call on that run starts while the previous one is unresolved.
Asset quotes include the whole production pipeline. Set a maximum credit amount before starting; we reserve the quoted maximum within your limit, charge confirmed usage for each internal stage, and release the unused reservation. A failed later stage does not erase the cost of an earlier completed reference image. Unknown provider outcomes keep their holds and are never automatically purchased again.
Hosted playtests and distribution builds show their quoted service price and charge it when the operation completes successfully. Manual edits, imports, local artwork tools and preview builds do not have a separate service charge. Dashpop agent calls used to perform or refine this work are itemized separately in the same balance.
When credits expire
Credits included with your subscription roll over while your plan stays active and expire two months after they are granted. Credits you buy separately expire twelve months after purchase. Where your balance holds credits with different deadlines, we use those closest to expiry first.
Your account lists each credit grant and the date it expires, and warns you before credits are about to lapse. An active plan is required to spend credits, so keep your plan running if you are holding a balance you intend to use.
Top-ups you control
Automatic top-up is optional and always buys the same $10 pack. Set its balance threshold and monthly cap in billing. Pending or failed automatic payments pause new paid work. There are no postpaid overages.
